T1DIABETES JOURNEY INC. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to raise diabetes awareness in the community and support diabetics through their maintenance journey.  Our vision is to be a support system by advocating and providing diabetics prescription financial assistance and wellness resources.

Antoinette Worsham is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a mother of four. Antoinette loss her 22-year-old daughter due to battling Type 1 Diabetes.  This unexpected tragedy has inspired her to start a non-profit/ 501c3 organization “T1Diabetes Journey, Inc".  She has another daughter who was diagnosed at the age of 12 battling T1D. Throughout her trials and tribulations, she continues to remain humble. Antoinette’s testimony has inspired her to give back to the community. 

T1DJ serves as an advocate for awareness and wellness by providing support and assistance to diabetics during their maintenance journeys. In recent community events, T1DJ has hosted information health workshops, health fairs, diabetes seminars that feature T1Ds sharing their story on the disease, a community health forum on diabetes, and many fundraisers that helped raise money toward OUR CAUSES; which are resources that educate the community about the physical and financial debilitating effects of diabetes.

Our presence can be found in local businesses such as the Cincinnati Recreation Centers, health care facilities, and area churches.  We are looking forward to continued growth and your assistance will help us achieve our mission to Support. Educate. Advocate


Antoinette Worsham received the Warrior Elite Distinguished Business Award  at the Women’s Empowerment Luncheon hosted by Warrior Elite on June 3, 2018 and is a member of The Women's Business Center. 

Antoinette Worsham had the courage to write Legislatures asking for Diabetic Ketoacidosis Awareness Day (DKA). Senator Craig and Antonio sponsored the SB230 bill designating DKA day as of April 26th. This bill pass the Senate 31, 0.  Mayor Cranley signed a proclamation designating Diabetic Ketoacidosis Awareness Day on April 26th in Cincinnati.
