Antavia attended Woodward High school while battling T1D. After being diagnosed at the age 16, she struggled to manage her diabetes and focusing on school, but she did prevail. She graduated from Woodward High School in 2013 and continued secondary college at Cincinnati State Technical College. Antavia enjoyed being around family and working.  Antavia worked at Paul Brown Stadium as a seasonal employee and worked fulltime for Securitas working at the Delta building.

Antavia passed away at the age of 22 on April 26, 2017. She passed in her sleep due to DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis). She leaves to cherish her siblings, mother, father, and host of family and friends.
